PEANUT BUTTER AND BANANA EGGY BREAD SANDWICH WITH MAPLE SYRUP

This recipe is carefully crafted for that gloomy day when only something sinful can lift your spirits. It’s not the usual French toast you are used to. It’s bigger, better, and something you will truly relish. This decadent breakfast is good for a Sunday, when you can infuse the yummy flavors into the family diet, but also keep the health quotient high. We allow you to do that here with the benefits of the banana and peanut butter. A stuffed eggy sandwich, fried and flavored with maple syrup, this recipe is as good to taste as it is to read. Choose a bread type that you and your family enjoy, and let the magic begin.

SERVES: 2

INGREDIENTS:

4 slices bread of choice
1 banana
2 eggs
4 tablespoons peanut butter
1 tablespoon milk
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup maple syrup
Oil to fry

LETS COOK IT UP!

Mix in the milk, eggs and vanilla extract and beat to thoroughly combine in a large plate. Now, take 2 slices of bread. On one slice, generously spread peanut butter and on the other mash half the banana. Press the two slices together tightly to make a sandwich. Heat oil in a pan. Dip the sandwich into the egg and milk mixture and immediately fry until browned on both sides. Repeat to make another sandwich. Cut into two halves or as desired. Add maple syrup and serve hot.
