Here is a simple recipe to prepare fresh, crunchy, homemade and golden brown tortilla corn chips, combining it with your favorite cheese or other tasty dips.
PREP 30 minutes
1 cup cooking oil
12 corn tortillas
herbs as per taste
LETS COOK IT UP!
To get the perfect chips we need to dry the tortillas. This can be done by leaving them exposed overnight or microwaving them for 60 seconds.
Cut the tortillas in triangles. Of one tortilla 6 chips can be made.
Take some oil in a pan and heat the oil. Fry the corn tortillas for 2 minutes until they change color.
Remove from the pan and put salt and herbs of your choice as per taste. Serve with your choice of sauces and dips.
